Native Hawaiian Plants

Many of our native Hawaiian plants are in danger of becoming extinct. This is due to a number of factors, including human development and the spreading of noxious weeds - plants that spread rapidly, and are difficult to remove once established. Native Hawaiian plants and the continuation of Hawaii's unique botanical heritage is an important part of LICH's mission.
